Evening chaps,
Just a quick question, I'm hoping someone here can answer as I don't have a method of testing.
Is the Audiolab M-DAC's SPDIF output variable, or is it fixed despite the digital pre-amp's volume position?
The reason for my question is that my balanced active speakers are connected directly to the balanced analogue outputs of the M-DAC, but I want to run a DSP for my pair of subwoofers (which are currently daisy chained with the speakers first in the chain - something I'd rather not do) direct from the digital output in addition to the analogue outputs, preferably from the Coaxial SPDIF .
The manual for the M-DAC is about as much use as an ice teapot, so I'm hoping someone here can help. Thanks.
