I am considering one of these, but am I getting 'carried away' by its looks?
'Made in England by Cambridge Amplifiers' makes me cautious.

I did own a Cambridge P50 in the '70s, but they did have a reputation for unreliability...

Any thought?

Thanks.
Martyn.

I used to sell these back in the day and don't remember any problems with reliability. Very distinctive looking in a black sort of way. The top of the range 7000 was built by Yamaha, as was the turntable, but the 4000 was more popular. The speakers of course were a story in themselves.

Let's have a look then ... my goodness, certainly distinctive!

I remember those well. Nearly bought one last year.

Nice. I could live with one of those.
