Well, he snorts Coke and likes having his arse slapped by whores... What other 'valuable attributes' should a chancellor have?

lol - the thing is, that is the truth in many cases.

I feel sorry for Miss Whiplash of Chelsea, she might have lost a punter.

Indeed - and yet folk are stupid enough to vote for these idiots?

Well with IDS resigning, it's spoiling Gideon's chances of becoming Leader and (God forbid) the next PM.

Or you could take the view that it matters not who is the PM as the PM is just the last link in the chain that we can see before it disappears into the fog.

Very apt and true. Cameron is just the mouthpiece for a dangerous, dark and devious force.

Perhaps 'Beware the IDS of March' might be appropriate for him at the moment! :D

Not just Cameron, it doesn't actually matter who it is. That's the beauty of the system.

Marco is right but for the wrong reasons. It's best just not to worry about it and get on with enjoying your life.

Explain the bit in bold, muchacho... I don't worry about it in the slightest, which is why I divorce myself from 'the system' (and politics in general) as much as possible!

Oh, that's rather good - I like it! :)

Marco - You say you find it boring and that is why you are not interested.

The Machiavellian nature of it interests me so it is not boring for me.

But I don't worry about it.

Marco
19-03-2016, 23:23
I get why that would interest you (it slightly interests me, too), but not the humdrum, run-of-the-mill daily bollocks of it all. Anyone remember the Parliament channel on Sky?

Not sure if it still exists, but all it consisted of was permanent coverage of some old fuckers talking shite (often there was no more than about four of them) in a room with shabby green leather seats, which you just knew stank of wee... Boredom city.

It was the ultimate TV channel for insomniacs!!

The only interesting thing about IDS is that he is exactly the same age as me; born on the same date in the same year. There the similarity ends:

IDS - bald as a coot; me - full head of hair

IDS - married a millionaire; me - didn't marry a millionaire

IDS - has just resigned; me - retired three years ago

IDS - lied on CV; me - never had a CV.

You sound rather like me Joe, apart from the hair. I have enough, just none up top.
