OK, it is around four in the afternoon and today is another day. With that in mind, I bought Sue and myself a present for tonight...

Yeah I know, we ate curry at the curry house last night but tonight I have cooked us a homemade Caribbean style curry with chicken and naga chilli. For while The Voice is on, I thought we could indulge some honey, Jack Daniels style.

Never tried Honey, what's it like ?

MMmmm Naga chilli, i could eat them all day long. Not a fan of the honey jack, prefer normal, then again Jack not my fave bourbon. Enjoy it though Shaun. Try some Eagle rare bourbon, not as good as it used to be ,but still very,very nice.

Nice but incredibly sweet. So, there's a surprise !

I think if you are a whisky drinker, you'll hate it. If you are on the other hand a whiskey drinker, it may be OK.

Dont do sweet alcohol drinks tbh; well not often. Ive seen it n sale and a few companies have copied them. I'm becoming an alky, am onto my second beer.;)

Yes. I'm just enjoying a modest lager at the moment. Got bugger all better to do since I put down my paint brush an hour ago (yes, still decorating :rolleyes:).

Slow but methodical's the way. I have to revolve my decorating around a house full of people getting in the way and I can't have wet paint about when they are 'cos they've no sense!!

I do a nice job though. :D

Yes. Hall & landing on the go at the moment. Then my 'den'. That'll be somewhat time consuming. Half a ton (literally) of Hi-Fi to shift. Not to mention three big bookcases full of books and PC stuff! :eek:

When I redecorated my living/listening room recently, I had to move 650 books, 1,000 or so LPs and about the same number of CDs. Never again!

Sounds about the same as the amount I shall have to shift (not to mention 1/2 ton of Hi-Fi and 3 PCs) when I redecorate my 'den' shortly (once I've finished the hall, stairs & landing). :)

Yes, I think you have more pairs of speakers than I do, and whilst I have a lot of gear only some of it had to be moved (7 power amps, three preamps and one CD player) and only about 3' of music, audio and photography magazines.

It's much tidier now.

Ha Ha :)!

I have two big pairs of speakers, one largish pair and some tiddlers. A big integrated amp, two big DVD players, two SS power amps and a pair of valve monos, two pre's, four CD players/transports, two big DACs, tuner, MD deck, seven TTs (in various states of assembly) and about three hundred pounds weight of speaker units and boxes of components and bits. Big bubble wrap rolls, packs of 'flat pack' shelf units. But otherwise not much at all really :D.

(And. This room is only 11" x 10 and I'm looking at all this lot at the moment! :rolleyes:)

I must try that 'Honey' , it sounds nice!!! :cool:
I have to confess one of my favorite tipples always was a nice Famous Grouse or Teachers with Drambuie !

Would this actually go with Whiskey too??:mental:
