Well, you know, it is once again Friday afternoon and the weekend starts very soon. Tonight, Sue and I will be heading out to the local Wetherspoons which is known as The Yarborough Hotel for a few pints of Abbott Ale and then we will be going to the local curry house known as The Spice of Life. Sue is working for the rest of the weekend as she works in retail but I am planning a bit of a fab CD session almost certainly based around Roger Waters.

Got any plans...?

On Friday's I occasionally pop up to Newton Abbot for a couple hours.

I particular like the Newton Abbot Market Hall area, and the nice little associated street. Plenty shops around!

Got to see a man about a dog after work tonight but then rest of weekend will be kipping and watching old films.

Doing jack shit is vastly under-rated. :)

Enjoy yourselves Shaun . On Saturday I'll be recovering from 3 nightshifts Wed-Fri and will be lying around the house like a burst ball
On Sunday me and Tricia will be off out somewhere for a well earned day out together . Definitely a nice lunch somewhere is on the cards . :)

Brian, hope the two of you have a fab Sunday out together. Sunday is usually our day out together in the car for a seaside drive and a carvery.

I'll be decorating on and off until about 9pm, with the odd break for a cuppa, dog walkies, picking up a bit of shopping including a beer or two for tonight and of course popping in here now and then. :)

Mmm ! Haven't been to the carvery for ages . There's a good one quite near us which serves humongous deserts and pieces of cake :D

Working from home, prep for big meeting tomorrow.
May see if anyone interesting playing one of the local pubs. Failing that will pop up the Hill to a great drinking hole 'the hunters lodge', a pub lost in time, looks like it has not changed since the forties. Do not ask for a larger, do not talk about about phones, computers etc , let alone use one. You will get you thrown out.

for a few pints of Abbott Ale

OOOOh Abbott Ale, one of my favourites.

As it's my birthday we have been out for a wonderful lunch at the local eaterie, plus I think I've enough beer in for the rest of the night:

Gym this afternoon followed by spinning a few records accompanied by beer; A Little Schmilsson in the Night and Talking Book are two I haven't revisited for a while.

Oh, and more beer! I deserve it.
