FS: Mike New Precision Bearing for Technics SL1200 1210

I'd like to gauge interest in a Mike New Bearing & ETP Platter for the Technics SL1200 / SL1210.
Both used but obviously looked after extremely well and performing beautifully!

Instructions for fitting both items will be supplied. The bearing comes as is and the platter will be supplied with two large bolts for lifting it on and off the spindle and three small bolts used for attaching your magnet to the underside.
NOTE: For the uninitiated, in order to use the platter you MUST have an external power supply. The ETP platter will not physically fit with the original transformer still in the deck!
I'm looking for £700 including delivery within the UK which offers a significant saving over the new price.

A steal I'd say. Do not sleep on this if you are even contemplating modding your Techie. Most of us will have paid around £450ish for ours. This clearly represents a very big saving on a component which as part of the Techie upgrade path is an essential, precision piece.

How easy is it to fit?

Relatively easy as long as you can use a screwdriver.
Hardest part is trimming down the PCB "tails" to ensure that they don't short on the bearing.

I was apprehensive as I don't like doing this sort of thing at all.

Pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The filing down of the PCB bits was the worst
