I still have a good dozen mini-discs with music already recorded on them.

I'm not looking for a player for strictly recording purposes. But for good quality enjoyable listening.

Which are the models that sound very good?

NB: I'm not looking to buy right now!

You heard my Pioneer MJ-D707 MiniDisc deck Shane. It's a very good sounding unit, well built too. The playback is virtually as good as the original recording made via my Meridian CD setup.

Strange. I can't remember hearing your MJ-D707. But I can still remember seeing it each time when I visited.

Had one of these too...it went same way and recordings went wonky but still played well.. Thats a good price http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quality-DENON-Mini-Disc-Player-DMD-M30-Free-5-MiniDiscs-/252310892935?hash=item3abee6b187:g:PfsAAOSwezVWyKW B

This was similar to my teac.. Think mine was a 300....Its half or 2/3 size.. These are nice.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TEAC-MD-H500i-MINI-DISC-PLAYER-REMOTE-EXCELLENT-LQQK-/301885304322?hash=item4649c42e02:g:8mUAAOSwuAVW1OQ u
