Hi everyone! I'm just in the middle of building my first system. I currently have an RP3 (Elys 2), croft micro 25, quad 306 and q accoustic 3050. Still looking for a phono to match though.

Hi Mike and welcome.

One of my early systems consisted of the Croft micro and a Quad 606. Sounded very good indeed.

I would recommend you either try a Croft RIAA phono stage or a Firebottle phono. Both about same price and both excellent.
