No Paul. However, having taken advice on the matching of my amplifiers I found that they may be problems with damping factors etc and My second choice of 801 's would be a better suiter.

Me too Lawrence I reckon it's a digital shy. Even if it is they are still very cheap. Either that or he has got the model number wrong.

Oh hell, frying pan to fire Steve... M801's may be what many CD's were mastered through, but that really doesn't say much in their favour. Bass is improved over the originals, but hard grainy mods and tinny top is still a possible issue methinks. N801's replaced the midrange grain with bloomy bass - ugh!
