A superb and powerful solid state amp.
Quite well known and admired on the forum.
I've had this quite a while and it has always performed flawlessly.
£400 ono - or maybe swaps / px for another amp.
Not available until end of play at Scalford as it may well be our amplification of choice in Syndicate 2 ! :)
Or I can courier it after that - I have original (very large!) box for it.

Just listening to mine right now. With an MF X10v3 in the tape loop it really comes to life and sounds stunning, just like a quality 200wpc hybrid amp.

Thanks for the bump - yes, it does sound great with a valve or 2 in the circuit. I've a valve buffered DAC and it works very well with the Restek! :^

Bump & reduction to £350 or swaps/px.
It's not going lower than that. :nono: :)

This should sound superb, I've just been listening to mine through a pair of Castle Howard S2s without the x10 and it still sounds nice and smooth but in a quality solid state kind of way. Wish I could make it but got things on. One day!

I've said it before this is a great amp, I have one, oodles of power and can be used with a valve pre into the power in sockets and you've got a hybrid that will beat lower powered coplands etc at a fraction of the price, my croft basic looks great above the restek.

Given a number of Tannoy owners here, I don't get how this is unsold. I've heard it on a number of occasions with HPD 385 and other DC drivers based Tannoy speakers, it's a no brainer for this budget.

Me, neither!
BUMP
Here's the one I had. Is that SN: CHLA166 you have there Jerry, by any chance?
This is cheap. I got more for this one on ebay by quite a bit. Buy it and the risk of losing money is tiny if you no likey.

Hi Jerry,
If you can ship it to me in France for £275, I'll be happy to buy it!
Thanks,

Thanks Graham, I'll bear that in mind.
Now listed on eBay and Hififorsale for £340 plus postage.
I'll be donating the money to Steve's / sazeracrye Laos charity appeal, so I'd like to try and get a decent value for the amp.
Going downward to silly-low figures isn't the way to go, in hindsight.
I had a PM offer overnight for £200.
£340 is a bargain, tbh. ;)

Bingo!
That is about what mine went for if I remember correctly on £1 no res. Mine was in slightly better condition too.
Did well in the end.:)
