amp problem

here we go again!
ive just noticed one channel on my amp is very distorted,ive done the elimination process and its defo the amp,the distortion goes away when i press the source direct button which i always have on anyway so its not a problem right now,what id like to know is should i get it looked at asap?

Source direct just bypasses the tone controls usually. That may lead you to where the problem lies
