How do they listen to all this kit? No Speakers to be seen.
They might fetch some back in the time machine they used to get a Pioneer RT707 back to 1973,not shown in these pics, but glaringly obvious in the show...well to a nerd like me anyway!Obviously the set designers could do with a catalog or two...
Yeah I downloaded the first episode last night and watched about half of it. If you're into sex 'n' drugs' rock 'n' roll (and classic hi-fi) turn on and tune in. But don't drop out:D
Yes, I've been avidly following it since the first episode - compulsive viewing, IMO! :exactly:
Sky Atlantic (home of The Sopranos) do some quality stuff, as do FOX (home of The Walking Dead). Two channels defo worth having on satellite TV.
Marco.
Sopranos was HBO
You might be getting mixed up with Boardwalk Empire.
The reruns were shown on SKY Atlantic, mate. I know, because I watched them:

Anyway, have you been following Vinyl? As a '1970s casualty', it should be right up your street! ;)
Marco.
Sky Atlantic is the only channel I don't have.
Shit... Can you download it? If not, maybe just get the whole series on DVD. I think you'd like it :)
Marco.
It'll be on again somewhere. Everything is always on again somewhere these days. Not like in the old days when if you missed something that would be it for a decade or more. There was a value to watching telly back then.
Just got Amazon Prime so maybe it will be on there.
Someone unable to view Sky Atlantic but determined not to miss this series might resort to torrenting.

£10 for a now tv box & you can see it
And like you can't afford it! ;)
Marco.
Now tv entertainment package ha a 14 day free trial, sign up watch it on your pc cancel before you have to pay.
THE lead actor..BOBBY CANNAVALE..was in BOARDWALK EMPIRE season 3.
he played a properly bad egg called GYP ROSSETI. to say his character was unhinged is to put it mildly.
a great actor who should be on the big screen...a bond baddie in the making.
NIGE.
Watched the pilot/first episode last nite
Very entertaining
Lets see aside from the Pioneers above I saw Td124 they were snorting cocaine off,
Nak 700 cassette deck, a few TEAC reel to reels, Empire tt
could get hooked :)

£10 plus £6.99/month
I'm sticking with Freeview.
OK. Head in the sand...
No, you are right: tv is a shameless waste of money for what you get. I got cable as soon as they laid it in 1996 - then for a few years when skint after buying a house I went to freeview. Main reason I re-subscribed was because there is no South Park on freeview and I missed it.
Since I almost only ever watch old shows it would be cheaper just to buy the DVDs.
South Park, lol... Rather you than me! ;)
Vinyl, however, you'd LOVE, and that *is* quality :trust:
Marco.
I am considering disconnecting my aerials and just using Amazon prime. I really grudge giving the bbc money for a service I never use. I dont even listen to radio

South Park makes me laugh out loud. That's worth the money.
Vinyl is something I would watch, but I'll wait until it comes around on one of the many services I'm already paying for.

I watch vinyl going around and around on my turntable...
Hope Vinyl gets released as a box set?

Same here with Netflix Grant, particularly so when Iplayer is chargeable.

I begrudge paying for commercial TV - something you do regardless of whether you own a TV or not.
