The clear out continues............. I have managed to bag a pair of Impulse H2s so these and some B&O speakers are to go.
The stands are not original but they look the part and are right for the period --- they form a very stable base, I'd prefer to sell the speakers with the stands as they compliment each other very well but PM me if you want just the speakers.
I have the original Manual and Test Certificate --- these left the factory on 24/4/1979 are consecutively numbered 104239 & 104240.
They are also obviously in the rarer black finish and are in v good condition, the tweeter surround are nicely burnished but would probably come up shiny if desired although I like them as they are. The covers are immaculate as far as I can see --- the cabinets are also in top condition, the speakers have had one owner besides myself from new, an elderly couple (now) who played classical music and radio 4 at low volumes ---- I don't think there can be many better examples of these speakers about.
The speakers share the tweeter and super tweeter with the Spendor BC1
I need to raise funds for the H2s so will offer these ( and B&O) on here and the WAM first but will need to go to eBay in short order as sales seem a little slow or maybe just mine !!
Think these deserve a reasonable price ---- I welcome feedback if I am out of the correct range but when get to this age condition etc is key --- they play very well but I am no engineer so have not taken them apart etc --- all auditions welcome ( sorry this is a long missive )
How is £285 with the stands ( collected )
Courier may be possible but would need to source some big boxes and it wouldn't be very cheap ....
