Hi and welcome Mark. AoS has a large community of pi users although most seem to use Moode rather than Volumio these days among others. In fact the writer of moode is a member.

Hope you enjoy the forum

Dear struth, thank you for the warm welcome !

I have tried to get Moode to work and wasn't able to, no problems with Volumio. Will try again with Moode, has a nicer interface.

Dear Geoff,

Thank you for the warm welcome !

Currently my plan is
Wi-Fi > Raspberry Pi with Wi Fi >Volumio > Digi + > AK4396 Dac > Lehmann Clone

Would welcome any suggestions. Trying to keep the costs down to less than $200 plus Raspberry Pi

Hi Mark. I'd suggest you start a thread in the Digital Expressions section and outline your ideas. I'm sure you'll get plenty of replies, as there are many members who use similar.
