It just seemed too cheap. There are others on there for £400 & £500. I paid £180

The advent of HDMI left a lot of these older AV receivers high and dry. Still a serious bit of kit though.

It looks much the same as my old amp so I dont think anyone will be any the wiser, kit changes fast in this house so I'm sure I'll be ok. There is a projector in that room which has a Japanese HDMI switch so I'm not bothered by HDMI connectivity. I always preferred separate direct connections for video and audio for some reason. I've already sold my old amp for £150 so it's gonna cost me £30 to try it!

Very nice and HDMI switching is a not required feature unless you must have video switching. None of my AV amps have HDMI, nor do I ever use video switching, all video sources connected directly to the screen and sound via the amp. 6.1 also is more than anyone really needs too imho.

£180 a bargain, nice score.

I agree but most purchasers of AV amps don't, for reasons best known to themselves, which is why you can get these behemoths so cheaply now.
