Anyone know these Martin Logan ElectroMotion ESL (https://www.martinlogan.com/electromotion/em-esl.php)?

Would you recommend these speakers?
We are looking for new pair for our home and these are one of the possible choices.
We have never ever had or listen to electrostats before. For now there is no dedicated amp for HiFi so will be used with AV receiver. Going to buy new amp later on so we can choose what would suits these

PS; hope is in right section. If not, mods feel free to move. Thx

We have just listen to them today. They sounds really good, with precise dynamic. clear sound.
But my missus does not like the design and prefer sound of Sonus Faber...
So back to drawing board, trying to find something what can compare to them

I can't really help you, Richard.

But at a guess, perhaps Harbeth speakers. As they give out that similar clear, open airy sound.

A friend has 3! pairs of ML's , their 'biggest' versions.
And 2 Subs with 4 amps driving.
Sounds are as Close to a real life performance as I've ever heard.
Seriously good imo.
Gotta Live with the Ridiculous roomate. That I can sympathize with.
Although I wouldn't tolerate that Nonsense :-)
But a Pair of Teeny Speakers on Sticks?? Really!

Best resort to Headphones in that case
