kef iq5 to tannoy DC6T?

...would this be a good and worthwhile upgrade?

....'grats' to any audiophiles and those 'in the business'...

No fan of the sounds out of KEF products... although many are :_)
And that Tannoy sub looks to have serious Goiter issues.
You can't consider a speaker system that Doesn't depend on a discrete Sub?

Got to agree with Shaun. Good speakers simply don't need a sub for music reproduction. Having listened to alanT's Tannoy 6.4 Precision's the other day they would be the one's i would go for. Punchy, full and musical. Sound em out good sir.

Most speakers would benefit from greater bass extension. But I hate subwoofers. I've not heard one that (to me) sounds integrated with the rest of the system. And I've owned a few and heard many.

I suspect the majority here are quite happy with their speakers and not aware that they have never heard a true and solid 30Hz, let alone had the floor shaken with an almost subsonic 20Hz.
