View Full Version : Thorens TD160 plinth and lid.

As some of you know I replinthed (is that an actual word?) my Thorens, so I now have the original plinth and the lid that are just knocking about at home. I don't have room for this stuff so need to move it on. The plinth is in really good nick with the smallest of wear on the bottom left edge. The lid is much less in good nick as is standard for these. A few cracks and repairs here and there but it is complete. It comes with the little brass pivots that make it working/functional. Could this be of use to an AoS member. A project/rebuild perhaps. I not asking anything for it. Free to a good home. Pick up or i can post it at cost.

P.s. I remember an AoS member is doing auctions for Cancer Research? Anyone know who that is? Would they like it?

Hi having stupidly sold my td126,td145 and td150 id like to get another soon so I'd be happy to get one that needs a bit of TLC and replace the plinth with this. There's one on the wam I'm trying for subject to wam taxi from scalford. Where are you located please feel free to PM me.

A home has been found for this. Hopefully it'll resurface as part of Lawrence's project. Good luck with it mate.

Now if anyone has a working td145 or 160 in a nackered plinth please let me know!

As a result of an unexpected offer of a Sondek at a very fair price I have unfortunately had to drop the TD160 project. So if anyone would like to take this free as a spare or upgrade to a nackered plinth then please get in touch!

I think the lid for the super is different to the standard td160 lid which overhangs the plinth rather than sitting on it.
