Solid Air is a great album, I have a copy of it on the original Vinyl and and also on CD but £25? Really?

Does half-speed mastering truly improve the listening experience that much?

Ive a couple of half speeds..(makes a whole):eyebrows: if done rightcand with the right type of music that can benefit then it does wonders. Some ive heard sound just the same or worse. Abbey rd have a rep for good ones

Well, I'd buy that (even although I already have Solid Air on vinyl and CD, as it's one of my favourite albums of all time, by one of my favourite musicians! :cool:

GAIN 2 Ultra Analog™ is a proprietary cutting system built and designed by legendary design genius Tim De Paravicini, with consultation from one of MFSL’s founding fathers – Stan Ricker, an audio engineer responsible for many of MFSL’s most heralded past releases.

The GAIN 2 Ultra Analog™ system is comprised of a Studer™ tape machine with customized reproduction electronics* and handcrafted cutting amps that drive an Ortofon cutting head on a restored Neumann VMS-70 lathe. First and foremost, we only utilize first generation original master recordings as source material for our releases.
