One more distraction before I mount one of the Zu Denons to The Wand.

I picked this up on Ebay with a Nagaoka G28-270ED stylus. It's just starting break in now but I'm liking what I hear. I've always been curious about these EPC carts because they came standard on so many nice Technics turntables back in the day.

It's very impressive.

This is a very dynamic cartridge with a great frequency response. Detail retrieval is impressive for a conical stylus. The soundstage is very deep with excellent instrument placement, I think it's the best I've ever heard in this regard. It's very different from the Shure's I've been using the last few months.

Totally agree! I have the mk 1 version and have the same experience. Btw what is the difference between the mk 1 and mk 2?

I'm not really sure. The specs look identical from what I've found.
