Condolences Steve,
Not been an easy time for you mate.
Lost my Mum a couple of years ago to similar, know its not easy.
Seems so random, and that, to me, is the hard part.
F*ck cancer.
Good on Jerry, top bloke.

Sorry for your loss Steven, not easy :(
Supporting charities when we can is always a good thing and what Jerry is doing in regards to cancer charity is a nice thing.

Coo :o - thanks guys. Only just seen this thread.
Well, I'm retired and wanted to do something useful, so I've been an active volunteer for Cancer Research UK for about 8 years now. I work in their Monmouth and Coleford shops and have used the Wigwam forum's Scalford Show as a basis for raising funds for a few years now.
It's well worth acknowledging that the funds I raise come from the generosity of others in donating items for sale and in giving money as well.
I'm just the facilitator for the generosity of others.
The total raised and already paid into Cancer Research UK so far this year has now reached £1,194. This is just astonishing and I have to confess brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye.
For those who want to see more, the Wigwam thread is the best place - http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread.php?125453-Cancer-Research-UK-quot-Bring-amp-Buy-quot-sale-at-the-Show
Another parcel of donated items arrived yesterday and is now up for sale here and on the Wigwam. http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?43225-Kimber-Yello-(x2)-and-Classic-(x1)-power-cables-Cancer-Research-sale!
And then of course there will be the actual "Bring & Buy Sale" at the Scalford Show on March 20th.
It's a great cause and a fine charity and I am proud to be supporting it.
Thanks again, guys. :)

It has been a while since I posted a parcel out to you. I'll have to find something extra special for you to listen to, before it ends up on your charity fund raising list afterwards :eyebrows:.
