For sale is my two-box Moth MM/MC Phono-stage.
This was bought new by myself in 1999 from Doug Brady HiFi.
When I purchased the phono-stage, I auditioned it alongside Naim plug-in Phonocards used with a very high specification Linn Sondek; the Moth won hands down.
I've been very impressed with the performance of the phono stage, without ever feeling Ive been missing out. It gives a great account of itself with both MM and MC cartridges. (input Impedance 47 kOhm. output impedance 100 Ohm).
However, Ive recently purchased a much more costly MC only phono-stage and now have this one sitting idle, which seems such a waste.
Its a fairly unassuming pair of boxes with Black ash front plates and aluminium bodies.
Collection preferred from Manchester, but will post at cost (they're quite heavy though).
Asking a reasonable £195 plus postage (the prices shown in the reviews are not accurate)
