A great starter or second system ---- £370 delivered
I used the DVD 8 as a CD Transport --- performance was excellent and can be further improved by adding a QDAC module or using an external DAC and both units can be improved with PSXRs.
(I can offer the Miniwatt n4 DAC I used with the unit and a decent digital coaxial for an extra £125 if needed )

Cyrus DVD 8 basic info:
Transport - Integral Isolated Loader Mechanism with dual laser pickup
Disc Replay Compatibility - DVD Video, DVD-R, DVD+RW, Video CD, CD Audio, CD-R, CD-RW
Video Outputs - Component Video, S-Video, RGB (via SCART), Composite (via SCART)
Audio Outputs - Digital Coaxial, Optical, Stereo Audio
CD Quality playback on par with award winning CD7 player

Cyrus 8 Amplifier basic info:

'The Cyrus 8 delivered the most power yet from our chassis. Despite the power amplifier delivering a true 70W+70W RMS power into 8 ohms, no compromises have been made elsewhere in the amplifer. True to the Cyrus tradition the chassis also houses a traditionally designed power supply featuring an oversize 330VA power transformer and extra-large electrolytic reservoir capacitors.'

Continuous Power - 70W/CH (both driven into 8 Ohms) 110W/CH (both driven into 4 Ohms)

Included in sale

A MC Bus cable to enable both units to be controlled with the supplied remote.
I have one original Cyrus box but both units will be packed very securely.
I will also include an upgraded RCA to RCA cable.
2 original power cords

For completeness sake I must highlight that the LCD text on the display of the DVD has a slight fault and does not display all the text on occassions but this is very minor and of course does not detract from audio performance in any way.
I will capture this in photos to be posted tomorrow.
Also the DVD is black and the amplifier is Silver --- personally not an issue for me but I understand others may want all units to match.

The DVD 8 rrp was £1,200 and the amplifier was £800 --- this is not a budget system performance wise and for £370 it is for sale for less than 20% of original rrp (18%) it offers an awful lot of performance.
Please note that the malfunction in the dvd display is very minor - I have tried to capture the missing LED -- the 'Y" is not quite complete you will note.
Both of the units are in excellent condition -- I would call the amp Mint and the dvd very close ( slight display issue aside -- casing is excellent )
I have played the units again today using the DVD8 as a standalone CD player and they do sound very good --- the mix of colour on cases is not jarring in my view
