Hi,
I'm joining the Forum from Paris. I'm in the process of replacing a system in my apartment, having transferred an old system that I haven't used in years (ever since a 2 yr old ruined the stylus and my copy of Live Rust) to a place in the country that is better suited in terms of size (kids are also bigger!).
My old system was:
Dual CS 5000 TT with a Joseph Grado Signature 8MZ cartridge
Bryston BP20 preamp
Amber Series 70 amp
B&W 704s
Nakamichi cd player that has since disappeared
I've now moved everything but the TT to the country, where I use an iPod as the source. I have got a replacement stylus for the TT and settled on Rega RX3s and a Creek Evolution 50cd for the apartment. I'm on the fence between two amplifiers but I'll post for advice re that separately.
My musical tastes are rock and jazz.
