Pair of LFT 16a speakers in gloss black complete with grilles and box. I bought these off a fellow enthusiast last year and have really enjoyed them.

They are a great introduction to planar speakers in a domestic-friendly size (24.7 x 54.6 x 24.7cm). I use them with Heybrook stands which are a perfect match. The current price new is £1200.

Review from Jerry here http://hifipig.com/eminent-technology-lft-16a-loudspeakers/

The speakers are in excellent condition and from a smoke and pet-free home.

Audition and collection from Morden, Surrey is welcome.

Selling at £500 plus delivery (boxed weight is approx 27kg). If collected I will include the stands for free.

Very nice - I really did enjoy my couple of weeks with those ET standmount speakers when I reviewed them.

I actually preferred them to their floorstanding (and 150% dearer) big brothers, which were a bit laidback for me.

Thanks Jerry

These speakers work well with my 15 watt Kalypso and 25 watt Bantam Gold

Some more info following a reader request

My room is approx 14' x 12' with suspended floors and I definiltely don't need a sub (even though I've got one). Being a sealed box the bass is quick with no overhang to compliment the mid and tweeter. I have been surpised with the bass depth and clarity on certain recordings which had previously sounded thick and tuneless (Totem Arros which were no slouch in this department). Seems my room works better with sealed rather than ported bass designs.

Looks are a personal taste. When seated with the grilles on (which does not affect the sound IMO) they look like any other stand-mount box. With grilles off you get to admire the componenets. The fit and finish is good contary to many reviews - the money has been spent on the technology not on megabuck matched veneers and 20 layers of lacquer.

Shame these aren't selling  - you need to get someone round for a dem - that'll do it! :)

Very fine speakers.

I heard these many years back in Singapore. Was tempted at the time. Good fast and detailed sound.
