Very rare 1970's vintage amplifier.
Very good condition with aluminium front and all solid aluminium knobs.
It has been fully re-capped on the pre-amp and Phono stages. New pre-amp transistors also fitted so it is quiet.
Bypass caps fitted in the power supply section.
I have the optional wooden side cheeks but these maybe want sanding and varnishing or replacing.
Very clean inside. Probably one of the best versions of this model I have ever seen.
NOTE :
This has a minor fault which does not affect function in normal use. When the volume pot is below 1/4 way sometimes the right channel will go off. Wiggle the volume pot up and down a little and it comes back on. Above 1/4 way and it is fine. I have tried cleaning the pot but I think the carbon track is either getting too worn out near the bottom end or the wiper is making poor contact with the track so it maybe needs a new pot. However this is a 3 way pot since it has a balance control. So you need to source a new 3 gang pot maybe from another vintage amp or replace it with a regular stereo one and lose the balance control. It does not always do this and some days it can be fine.
£65 + postage (about £10) or collect M29 area
