Pre-amp --- Quad 33 in good clean condition --- no crackles etc BUT the balance control does not work should it be needed ( I imagine it has simply become disconnected internally, however I had no use for the function myself )
The feet have been replaced with simple plastic protectors - yet again as my stand is level it wasnt an issue for me ..... and lastly for completeness there are what look like glue remnants from a label on the top cover which I have highlighted ( and made look worse !) in photos.... these may well come off with alcohol rub etc but I didnt want to try incase I buggered it up !
Given its age I'd say the amp is in good condition - its not mint but think price reflects that and it plays very well most importantly.
ALSO INCLUDED -- a brand new power cable from hifi hanger £115 + p&p
303 Power amp ----in good clean condition some tiny surface marks but ntg at all serious, looks very clean inside and has 'better' blue caps, I have used it with a passive pre ( as well as the 33 ) and it worked very well and silently - it too comes with a brand new power cable from hifi hanger £185 + p&p
