I think the one I purchased came from a member on the Wam. Happy hunting.

Puresound Audio have them in stock again, but they're pricey at £329.95, although from what Ive been told, they are the best mats for Garrards.
I'm thinking of getting myself one for Christmas...even at that price (which includes postage), but it is a big chunck of money for a mat.

Yep it is and that's why I held out for a 2nd hand one. Mine has several small marks and scratches but does not impinge on my 301's performance. You honestly wont need another mat.

I tried the Crystal mat on the 301 and I didn't like what I heard. It just seems to work well on the 1210 but please remember that I have one of the ancient Mike New Copper/Aluminium platters which is massively different to your Pioneer platter in weight and composition. You should get your money back pretty easily if you dont like it.

hmm in that case i wonder if the sound damped steel mat (isoplatmat) might be worth trying first?

I looked for a second hand one for ages - they don't come up and the latest version is slightly better. I bought mine new from Paul at Puresound and couldn't be happier.
