If you are interested, the Tonbridge AudioJumble is in three weeks.

It's a good event, with quite likely a few faces well known within Hi-Fi showing up. If you need that scarce valve or spare part for an obscure piece of Hi-Fi, this place is a good bet!
As I've said many times before, we need one of these events to be held 'oop north'. It's not just you southern softies who like vintage hi-fi...! ;)

Lol - nah, I simply want to be able to tootle along to one locally, as a punter, minus any costs or headaches, like you lot can to Tonbridge! :ner: ;)
It would be a nice thing to do, say, on a Sunday afternoon, if one could be out and back home within a couple of hours.

Axiom 10's. Cones differ in colour bur more importantly both are in mint cosmetic and working condition

206 tonearm with cartridge slide and rest. Looks to be the very desirable magnesium version and most importantly the cartridge slide is there as these are almost impossible to find and the original tonearm rest is nice as well

Very interesting, Andy! Didn't know about the cloning... Now I know which arm to use for my BBC Garrard 301, when I get it ;)
Jim, yes, it's a classic tonearm, as used by the BBC, back in the day (with the Shure SC35C) on Gates CB500 turntables. That's what you'd have heard reproducing music on the Radio 1 Top 40 chart shows, during the 70s :)

I had a very good day - sold lots (including a Gray 108B tonearm to a very discerning gentleman! :wave:) and only bought two magazines and the Eric Clapton 'Crossroads' 6LP box set, which I should have bought years ago.
What sort of mass (in terms of grams) are we talking about roughly, Adam, with an arm like that? :)

The 108 is a little different and mono only http://members.myactv.net/~je183/retro.htm
Purchased mine from a nice chap who sold audio literature by the trollyload. :)

Wahay Marco - that's the one! The only arm I know of where the offset angle is adjustable. I once saw one attached to a Garrard 301 in a second hand electronics and audio shop in Manchester, way back in 1969. :)

Wee tip... When Googling for stuff, don't just look on 'Web', for text, also click on 'Images', as then you'll be able to see a picture of exactly what it is you're looking for - and when you find the picture, you can then 'Visit Page', and Bob's yer aunty! ;)

It wasn't me with the literature but I saw the guy who bought them and he looked very pleased with his purchase
The 206 was new to me too and will be going on a 401 with a DL102 so will be similar to Sakuma San's setup
