As well as the laughs, nearly driving my car off the road listening to those incredibly rude Janet and John stories, I will always remember the music I discovered through his wonderful show. And I grew up watching his thrice weekly chat show on the telly. Thanks for the laughs and the music, Togmeister.

Tears of laughter when you feel you might produce a few of the other kind.

There will never be another like him

A daily companion on many hundreds of drives into work.

Thanks Terry.

Very sad news indeed - a truly talented broadcaster and a national institution. He was one of the 'old school' greats, and also a kind and humble man. He will never be replaced.

RIP, Terry :(

Marco.

+1 to that.

Although I didn't listen to Wogan much and can't call myself one of his 'TOG's, he was a superb broadcaster with a wonderful, reassuring and calm manner and was indeed a national treasure. And he will always be remembered for that wonderful soft Irish brouge of his. It's almost like loosing one of the family.

RIP Tel.
