Would an Arcam amp off eBay be a good match ? .

They are a very easy load and fairly efficient.... they should not be fussy as to what amp drives them.

A&R A60, or other lower power decent integrated - quality, not power. Best I've heard 352s was with a pair of Quad IIs in Australia - best sound I had heard at that point in my life (early 20s), with a conversant or convergent valve pre from memory.

Rogers A75 or A100 are good value and will be a great match.
I owned the R352 md, very nice speaker. My son has the R852 which is also superb.
I found them happier with solid state amps.

Very unfussy speakers (amp-wise) that are a real pleasure to listen to. Just don't get them too close to back or side walls. I'd probably go for a Creek 4040 or one of the old Stan Curtis Cambridge Audio amps, the P40 or P55. A60 is a good shout too though IMO.

i had a pair of these on the end of a NAD3020 a few years back and the match was very musical..with lots of volume to boot.
beware the ridiculous prices being asked for these amps on ebay etc though.
NIGE.

I'd second a Creek 4040 or 4140 at that price. Shop around and you could get a 4040 S3 or 4140 S2. Early CAS4040 are DIN connections so go cheaply if you're prepared to make up the cables but improvements in the later versions are also worth having.
