Scalford Hifi Show - Cancer Research UK charity "Bring & Buy" Sale

A great cause, imo, so I thought I'd start a dedicated thread to bring the charity sale to everyone's attention.

The HifiWigwam forum is organising its annual amateur hifi show at Scalford Hall, Melton Mowbray on Sunday 20th March.

As per previous years, I plan to run a sale / charity donation point on behalf of Cancer Research UK at the Scalford Show.

Last year it was a kind of "Bring & Buy" event, where generous Show-goers brought along and donated nice things for other folks to buy.
We raised nigh on £500 last year. :thumbsup:

I am planning to do that again.
So if folks have some decent, sellable items they would like to start putting aside to bring along and donate for this event that would be abfab.
Hifi gear, accessories, music (CD, DVD, LP) - you know the sort of thing!

If you have some nice items that you would like to donate, either in advance or on the day, just let me know. :)

Some generous folks have already donated items and I have sold them off in advance rather than chance a sale actually at the show.

Some sales are in progress, awaiting a thumbsup from the buyers that they are happy with their purchases, others have gone through already and I made a donation to the charity yesterday from the proceeds so far - £220.
