Hi Jonny. I'm a fellow Surreyian (if that is a word:D) I am just a tad older than you and about 40 years ago used to work in Kingston.O.T. Travelling up the Portsmouth line meant a change at Woking, Surbiton and a bus into Kingston. I regularly got the slow home from Surbiton to Guildford for a change and passed through some lovely villages such as Oxshott, Cobham, Stoke D'abernon and of course Effingham Junction. It was the hot summer of 1976 - happy days:)

A mere sixty? Just a strippling compared to some here (me included). :) And you're certainly not the only one with compromised hearing.
