hello themis,

thanks for asking: the bufferzone and boost-it are both available for US$750, including freight.

look out for listening notes by peter from 'CODA' in new zealand. he recently tried a bufferzone with some of his equipment. he'll post his thoughts on the buffer/boost-it review thread on AOS.

also, for those near 'sound hifi' in dartmouth, dave cawley will shortly have a sample of each unit for experiment.

cheers, adam

Well folks, thats the end of affordable Eco-Fan. You all had your chances to deal with Murray direct...welcome to UK retail prices from now on..or so it seems.:(

hi,

the us dollar is pretty weak at the moment - especially relative to the new zealand dollar - meaning that the difference in price of ecofan for nz and the rest of the world is not as large as it might appear.

i should mention that murray chose the buffer/boost unit price to sit in between that of the original musical fidelity X-10 and its considerably larger successor ( no longer in production ).

also, ecofan production is all on murray at the moment - you get a device carefully assembled and tested by it's designer - it may be some time before larger batches are made and the price point can be re-examined.

thanks for your interest folks, see you round the forum,

adam
