We have another very highly regarded piece of Pass Labs legacy for sale as well a brand new unopened X2 pre amplifier still in the original wrapping, (I took the unit out of its box for photo's only last week).

The unit is a genuine UK model purchased in late 1998 and has never been out of the box, it was purchased with the matching Aleph 5 stereo power amplifier we also have for sale as a matching pair at the time.

Very few good examples around let alone brand new! New cost of the is product was £3000

Asking £1495

A great pre-amp - what I currently use.

It might help buyers to know if this is the first or second generation. Way to tell is basically to open the case and check the circuit design against pics on the web. Second generation uses Pass Labs' Super-Symmetric topology.

Well Sam

It is easier to just send the serial number to Pass and let them tell ourselves.

Have upgraded a fair few over these over the years, easy on the ear and very well built units.

:) Good thinking! I'm more of a keep myself to myself kind of person. People who run businesses seem to be more of the communicative type...

When you say upgraded, are there further possibilities? (sorry if this detracts from your ad... feel free to tell me so).
