Will these be OK for turntable use? No problems with magnetic fields on MC cartridges or cables?

Thats where i used mine. As long as they can take the weight..improved my sound nicely

And there are no issues from the magnets? I'm dubious about having such powerful magnets close to not only a sensitive MC cartridge but the tonearm as well.

no, they are not anywhere near close enough to bother anything. My mc was sound as a pound tbh. I did wonder myself initially but although the magnets are strong they dont radiate too far.

I have a strong magnet on end of my 3009 holding an extra weight on and it doesnt bother anything either

Yep, I did wonder about that too but had no issues whatsoever.
