So, open baffle with bluetooth and some sort of room correction software and an active crossover maybe? Interesting idea.

Looks like it's what my software compiling friends would call "vapourware". The Kickstarter last year got cancelled.

That's unfortunately what I felt as well after a little more digging. To be taken with a large dose of salt.

Nothing stopping someone from knocking one of these up. Shame it got cancelled as I reckon they would be pretty good and $1000 is no money for a set of speakers these days. I'm hoping to get something along these lines built this year.

Open baffles with some good drivers, a straightforward crossover (or just go full range) and something like a MiniDSP should be a simple proposition.

Could be a fun project.
