OK, here for sale an arm that doesn't come up too often second hand.
Origin Live 'Illustrious' Mk.2 , purchased about 2006 as far as I can remember .
This one with plain arm pillar ( LP12 style ) with locking-screw collar that is screwed to the armboard or plinth . Cables terminated with Eichmann bullet plugs.
This was my reference arm for several years. Great tone , space & very solid deep bass. A big step up from the 'OL Silver' which I owned before, which had wiped the floor with a Linn Akito !
Given this cost £1570 new, I'm looking for £850 or very close to that.
Condition almost as new, just a few predictable screw-marks on the arm pillar and slight marking of the headshell slots from screws, as you would expect. In original wooden box with all the bits present and correct including the anti-skate weight/thread and some small allen keys. I may have some paperwork but will need to have a dig in the relevant drawers in the front room ! Ask for more photos if you are interested and there's any more detail you need.
