Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this counterweight

No that design.
If its for a rega arm I prefer this one;-

You just have to make sure its horizontal to prevent a pull to either the left or right.

No not that one but I have used the similar one from isotecknic on ebay and have one on my rega 300 now. I prefer the hex grub screw as it helps to centre the weight ;)

I did see this one and thought it looked quite classy.

I did look at those but fancied something a bit different. Did the upgrade make a noticeable difference to the sound ?

My 2M Black seemed to like it and it's more accurate in getting the force weight rather than spinning the normal rega counter weight..
