SALE CANCELLED

I need to raise funds for some new kit. As much as it pains me to sell these on, I can get by with TQ black for the meantime. This cable is quite a step up from that, it is more detailed and certainly more dynamic, with a wider sound stage. It really gels with Rega kit, in my experience.

The cable itself is OCC copper (not OFC)

The locking plugs are rhodium plated, factory fitted, and of top quality.

The cheapest I can seen on the net for a 4M pair (the MKII is exactly the same cable, just different jacket) is £775, or £600 for a 3m pair.

RRP for a new pair is £1195.

*REDUCED as it seems everybody is as broke as me* So asking for a very reasonable £325 or near offer, including fully insured next day postage.

Payment via PayPal friend and family please.

I did a review of the Ascent 3.5ii cables. Probably similar to these.
I liked them a lot and I agree with Marcus's comments on the sq.

Thanks Jerry - this is a serious bargain, I have reduced again, I have an offer from a dealer, but I would rather sell to somebody on the board, than the dealer selling on to somebody out there at double the price.

One final reduction, now £325 delivered. Otherwise, off to eBay at a much higher price.

I just plugged the cable back in, just to be sure I wasn't about to make a terrible mistake. I was - what was I thinking?
Thanks for not buying, phew!

Does this mean you've changed you mind? Ahh well, it's saved me a packet! I'll try Rega's own first - or maybe some TQ Blue...

Sorry Jason, but, yes, I have changed my mind. I switched DAC, and I was getting super-power bass, that was a too much for the room. TQ has an overall softer sound, but when I switched back, I realised just how much detail and soundstage I was losing.

However, after a bit of speaker placement adjustment, and changing the output level from the new DAC (Mojo), I managed to get rid of the 'boom'.

This is a serious hint actually to anyone considering using the Mojo as a DAC only - don't use the fixed output!
I found the best sound came from going directly into the power inputs of my amp and using the Mojo as the preamp, a little inconvenient compared to being able to use a remote, but worth it overall.
