That's completely bollocks, though, which anyone would realise if they lived here or had stayed here for any length of time. Aside from a couple of dodgy housing estates (as you get in every big town), Wrexham is a great place to live, and I've never seen any trouble in the streets, or in pubs, during the near-16 years I've lived here.

It's like judging Glasgow simply by photographing a council estate in Easterhouse! :doh:

Also, remember that I live in a quiet suburb, outside of Wrexham town centre, well away from any riff-raff... ;)

I was born in Wrexham and lived there until the mid 60's, it was a nice town to live in, but i know it's had some problems in later years. (Same as most towns?)
Now i live in one of the 'better' areas of Manchester.......The one that became famous for the Moors Murderers and Harold Shipman! :rolleyes::doh:

I went shopping in Lidl ,Wrexham , a couple of yrs ago

When I returned home , the beloved , asked me how it had been ??
