Hi,

My real name is Alan and I have spent the last 40 years trying to get a system together. I am not a techy person but I can usually build / bodge with the best (worst) of them.

My current system is: -

Vinyl - Notts Analogue Hyperspace, Terminator Pro Arm, Denon DL103 in a Midas block.

Phono Amp - Phonoclone.

Digital - cMP2 computer system, Buffalo 32s DAC.

HT - Panasonic BluRay, DPA Two Box DAC, SKY HD, Benq Projector (runs as 2-channel not 5 or 7)

Pre-Amp - LightSpeedAttenuator feeding a Nelson Pass B1 buffer

Power Amp - Peter Daniels PATEK clone.

Speakers - Gedlee Abbey's.

Headphones - Stax Lambda Pros / SRM-T1S driver.

I have loads of other stuff (far too much other stuff) and I have kits & bits to build more amps / speakers.

I have tended to post on DiyAudio and Computer Asylum.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I will post pictures of some of my (handi)work. My tastes in music range from Bach Beethoven through Chopin, Stravinsky, Glass. Pop - I am stuck for the most part in the 70's - Steely Dan above all.

I look forward to contributing to the forum

Not really on topic, but for Steely Dan fans. I picked up a Walter Becker CD (2008) last week for £3.00, "Circus Money". His first for eons. What a brilliant CD, totally Dan. It is on Spotify if you want to try before you buy (or not)
