Hi guys, I have the above TT which is stock and very nice with the RB 301 arm. What I would like to know is, as there are so many upgrades available are any of them really worth fitting?
Your views would be appreciated,
Thanks, Phil.
Try a set of BO!NG feet.
Oldpinkman reports these as being a good upgrade for Rega decks, but try to get them on a home loan so if you don't like them you can send them back.
I like what they do on my SL1200 but that is a different deck.
I'd say; If you like the P3-24, use and abuse it and spend your money on software! If you don't, sell it and get another type of tt.
Tweaks can most often only be the spice of a dish, it wont change a cod into an filet de beouf..
That said, the most character of a TT is it's cart if you ask me, and it would be interesting to know what you've got today?
And, what would you like to change in the presentation today?
Regards /Mike

The rigidly mounted 24 v motor job is well worthwhile.
As to 3rd party mods, most I have heard and seen make the Rega TT worse, so I would suggest you save your money and buy a better cartridge.

The current cartridge is a Rega Bias, there's nothing wrong with the sound, I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to make it even better 😀

Mine has the 24 volt motor and TT PSU.
It is fitted with a Rega Bias cartridge, what would you recommend?
Thanks,
Phil
According my experience if prioritize internal wire and counterweight. For example tecnoweight. Are the necessary ones.
Counterweight will improve your cartridge options. I remember the sound improvement with DL103R after tecnoweight.
I would not touch the rest.
