I'm very happy to say that Dawson's m2Tech Young DAC now has pride of place in my hi-fi, replacing my Peachtree DAC-IT. I'm looking forward to giving it listen over the next couple of weeks.

I guess the next thing to look for is a decent power supply for the m2tech. I was hoping the power supply I use with the Peachtree would do the job, but the voltages for the m2tech are quite different.

Glad to hear it has arrived OK Rob, I hope you enjoy listening to it - it's a very good performer.

How did you find the peachtree dac. I used the one on my integrated and found it to be very good and thought about the standalone dac?

I love my Peachtree DAC-IT. I have listened to music through it for many happy hours. It's going to be hard to get rid of it, if I'm honest. It could well replace the Musical Fidelity V-DAC in my office system, and I'll sell the V-DAC.

My DAC journey has gone: QED Digit, Mission dac 5, Arcam Black Box 3, Musical Fidelity V-DAC, Peachtree DAC-IT, and now M2tech Young. Each one has been an improvement on the one before (except the Arcam, which I didn't get on with). So amongst those other DAC, the Peachtree does very well in deed.

Very interesting I connected my Sonos a MF CD player to the peachtree, both were improved but Sonos was very good. Previous day's didn't fair so well. I was considering a peachtree or the under rated team dacs. Thanks for that.
