Crazy Prices!

I've seen some kit over on eBay at what I consider to be grossly exaggerated asking prices.

I hope it's no one from here, but there's an MF A3 pre and power combo at a grand, which is almost double what they were selling for a while back, ditto a Lyngdorf integrated at a couple of hundred more than the last time I looked.

You can't judge a market by what price people are asking. Look at what they are actually selling for in the sold listings.

Anything that is a big brand even civilians have heard of (like B&W) or has cachet (like Naim or Linn) sells well on eBay. You can buy them cheaper on forums.

Good stuff which has no cachet and no household name can actually sell cheaper than it will on forums.
