Hi all
I have my excellent great condition power tube amp for sale. No marks on it i can see and lovely to look at.
Stereo Power Amplifier: Input 1.2 V driving 60 watts, maximum 85 watts output.
Multiple Inputs: RCA and XLR inputs.
Custom Wound Audio Transformers with a core of German grain oriented silicon steel. 15th generation proprietary design. Secondary can be configured for a 4 ohm or 8 ohm load.
Top panel bias testing terminal with bias adjustment controls plus EZ-biasing.
State of the Art Components: Hexfred Diodes, ceramic composite grid resistors, custom coupling caps.
I bought it from an enthusiast a few months ago who made some significant upgrades to the amp - which are listed below and have quoted from his original ad.
The tubes have about 40 hours on them and the new capacitors only about 10 hours. The amp comes with 6550 tubes (KT88) however you can drop and bias in KT120's or even KT150's.
Original tubes are TungSol 6550's, TungSol 12AX7 and ElectroHarmonix 12AT7
Upgrades undertaken: Caps are now Jensen Copper in Oil. Coupling to ground are now RelCap PSU pure copper film caps (these alone are £90 each). Input RCA's are now AN silver plated types. Input cable has been upgraded to DH Labs Silver Sonic balanced. Gold input IEC input and a Hi-Fi tuning Classic Gold fuse.
Im looking for £749 please. I have boxes and packing etc for shipping safely.
