Wanted CD Player

Hello Guys

Im trying to move up the chain by investing in something nice CD wise i am after the following:

Sony ES
Marantz KI Signature
Pioneer Precision
Arcam SE

Budget is tight on this one so between £80 to £95 would be good missed a pioneer PDS505 Precision at the weekend for £56 :eek::steam: gutted.

Anything with considered?

That player sold for £57. ;)
It was selling for £130 a week before, Buy It Now or Best Offer, and I offered whim £80 + postage. He told me to "look for a cd player I could pay for".

I have a Pioneer DV-717 I may let go. I tested it extensively against my Rotel RDD-980 transport, both connect at the same time to my DAC and, honestely, I could tell no difference between them.
It is in fine condition, complete with original remote.
Some say it is way better as a transport then a Pioneer PD-S505 (that I bought here, but that I haven't receive yet). I really don't know. But it is, at least as a transport, as good as the Rotel (CDM-9 Pro). For instance, it is VERY quick changing tracks.

I'd let it go for £40 + postage (I guess around £18, but I'd have to check).

Got 2 717's. top transports, although I am now using mine naked and just through a nice buffer which imo is even nicer.

I can see it being relisted again then. Hold the fought on the 717 i may well be interested they guys on here love them so that might be the better option just putting feelers out see if i can find a gem
