Its not often someone who designs a hi fi product gives one of his customers a present. I got one through the post yesterday and have been playing with it tonight.

I have been scalded twice for whistling and singing on the cans -disturbing strictly in the other room!!!!

Marvellous...many thanks Stan.

I kinda hope you mean SCOLDED...... Though I did know a man whose Mrs. threw boiling water at him if A she was pissed off and B it was the wrong time of the month. Like my ex, his had PMT 26 days out of every 28

I am pleased that you like the trinket Tony. It' a nice little toy to focus the mind and test some of the senses. I only had a couple so I hope that each of the lucky recipients so far are all pleasantly surprised with its usefulness when listening to music. Sorry about the lack of instructions, especially which position to place it in for maximum karma exposure and minimum positive energy waste . But figuring that out was all part of the Christmas experience.

I had been toying with idea of trying to integrate a sub with my 57s.....dont think I need bother now!!!!

Fortunately no hot water was flying around-just a verbal roasting.

It sounds like it's a pyramid to sit in whilst listening to music. Will it sharpen your razor blades too?

Nope just sit in my back room on the cans trying not to disturb my good lady watching her dancing programme. The only thing it has sharpened is the noise on cans and the main rig.

It has improved the bass on the cans-initially I thought my son had changed the settings on the Capella...he hadnt!!

Had a wee play with the options available and then tried it on the main rig-the improvements translate to the room nicely.

57s can sometimes be a little bass light-this goes some way to resolving that.

Is this a top secret product?

I'm just a bit curious...

I'm a lucky man to have Stan as a friend. I'm sitting here savoring my Christmas gift. They say good things come in small packages. This has to be the greatest understatement ... this gift has to be the smallest by far I have ever received, yet it is giving me a truly great amount of pleasure. Merry Christmas, Stan.

I guess it's better not... I think it may be a good bottle of Portuguese wine. ;)

I got it! An eye mask! That helps focus the mind on the audio..

I'm still guessing another firmware chip - something that has options.

Its Beresford branded cardboard elephant ears, to help focus the sound....
