View Full Version : Name That Album Cover ... Or How Obscure Is That?!
Beechwoods

Alex gave me an idea for what might be an interesting thread... a variation on 'Name That Tune' ;)
Name That Album Cover
So someone posts up an unnamed picture of an album cover... someone else identifies it and gets to post their own unnamed album cover... and so on. Might be an amusing little diversion. Let's see how obscure we can get (Andre?!) You can; just to make it more difficult, edit the picture to exclude the band name if it's a dead giveaway...
If more than a day elapses without identification of the unnamed album, you're allowed to post a new one to keep the ball in the air.
Wotcha think?
Here's one to start with :)

Thanks Andre. I'll definitely check that out. While we're on the subject have you checked out Mighty Baby's recent 'Live In The Attic' release? Another from the Glasto LP and the live LP is just fantastic - and a great pressing too.
Here's my pic for tonight. I know at least one person on here will get it:

Seems to me that there's a certain problem to this (otherwise brilliant) thread that means anyone who doesn't like prog rock is completely excluded.
No offence intended

My point is that if someone knows a very obscure prog album sleeve & gets the correct answer, then they are likely to have a good stack of obscure prog albums (& let's face it, there are plenty of them) that they'll choose from for the next round. Because of that, the game stays with prog rock & tough shit for anyone else.
Anyway, you carry on.

Serves you all right for being ignorant about it then ;) At the end of the day Prog & prog/Psych related moosik made up the biggest part of rock music releases in the late 60's/early 70's
Plus, most non-prog covers have the name of the artist and title in gurt big letters, which is a bit of a giveaway!
