Most of us have a song, that is not necessarily our favourite, but makes the system that we play it on sound brilliant.
I was just wondering what yours is? :)
Details please...artist..song...album etc. Ta!
'Smooth Operator' by Sade' would be my choon.:door:

To answer the OP properly first
Maybe Joan Armatrading "Love and Affection"
Maybe "killing me softly" by Cleo Laine and John Williams
Recently I've used Katie Melua "Nobody knows you when you are down and out"
One? Just one? First movement Bachs Double violin concerto - but if its a "dem " track to show off - it needs somebody receptive to classical music. It left Sovereign stone cold.
Now "Your song" - I can't remember when I have struggled so much with a guitar accompaniement, and I was just about to pick it up and have another go. Problem is the chord voicings I am trying for. If I dumb it down, I can play it. But it bugs me I can't play it the way I want to :steam:

It's tough to choose just one but I'll go with It's Raining Today by Scott Walker from Scott 3. I would also certainly include Neil's choice of Hawkwind - Assault And Battery in my list . Now that is a cracking tune!

There's just been a new Flash update issued. If you need to install it, you'll be given the option to select automatic updates for the future.

Thanks guys. I'm posting via an IPad sans Flash so I think that is perhaps where my problem lies.

Tough one, but I often fall back on Blues Deluxe by Joe Bonamassa just for the guitar sound.

Anything on the Billy Joel album An Innocent Man.It just sounds so clean & dynamic on my system with very good production.
The best bit is when he snaps his fingers & it feels like he has jumped out of the speakers & is holding his hand right in front of your face.
All great songs that I believe are autobiographical so have great realism, honesty & passion .
